RESPRAYING DAMAGED KITCHEN PANELS
To find out more, or to arrange a free quote, please get in touch.
Minor damage to kitchen panels or doors no longer has to result in a replacement kitchen. Respraying your kitchen panels and cupboards can be a more cost-effective solution.
We have worked on lots of doors, plinths and panels that have scratches or minor defects to the surface. When we prepare our surfaces, as we explain below, we assess and repair where possible before respraying commences. Scratches can be covered with extra attention during the spraying process. Minor defects can be sanded before respraying commences. Where damage is too extreme to repair, the customer can look to replace the component before work begins, and we can spray any new panels or doors to match. Make sure you speak to our team about this to discuss options as we need to factor in any extra time that is needed.
The outcome is a kitchen that looks like new, no marks, just a smooth, durable and moisture-resistant finish. We always complete a final check to ensure the finish is of a high standard. As with any paintwork, there are many factors to take into consideration, so we always run our checks once everything is dry to give you full peace of mind. Take a look at some of the transformations we have completed below and on our gallery page.
Respraying kitchen panels can also be a more efficient, cost-effective and more environmentally friendly than replacing, and to give you complete peace of mind, we offer a 10-year guarantee on all our work.
“I’ve had many house jobs over 35 years in three homes, but nothing ever as brilliant as this kitchen makeover. To say I’m thrilled with the result is putting it mildly! The kitchen cupboards in my new house are old. They had already been painted twice - badly. But this re-spray has made them new again. The whole process was exceptional: timely, detailed quotation. Plenty of information from Sarah. Drew, my painter, was painstakingly thorough and perfectionist as well as being pleasant and polite. What a professional job. And he left everything clean and tidy. Perfect. Fantastic value for money. THANK YOU Yorkshire UPVC Spraying!.”
HOW WE WORK
All cupboards are sprayed in position, so there is no disruption to the kitchen or the surrounding area other than masking to protect.
We clean, degrease and decontaminate your kitchen cupboards to allow them to bond correctly. Everything is covered and masked and surfaces not to be sprayed are taped and protected with sheeting. Dust sheets are taped to surrounding areas and paint is mixed with a curing agent and added to the specialist spraying equipment ready for use.
Our paint dries in just a few minutes. We will apply as many coats as necessary to ensure the desired finish. Once the cupboards are dry, we will remove all masking and bagging and inspect the finish.
We try to minimise disruption as much as possible. The whole process from start to finish on average takes two days, day one is prep and day two is spray and clean up. Compared to installing a new kitchen, respraying can be arranged, booked in and completed in a much shorter timescale and with much less disruption.
We clean all surfaces before we finish, leaving most cupboards to be able to be used the next day. We fully ventilate the area with our extraction units, whilst podding and sealing off the kitchen so both noise and disruption are kept to a minimum.
We pride ourselves on our after-care service and we will follow up with you to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.
WIDE CHOICE OF COLOURS
You can choose from a range of colours. The finish we offer is closer to a matt finish, we class it as satin but invariably this sits on a low sheen and provides the best robust and durable finish. You can take a look at some of our most popular colours here.
We can match to over 300 British Standard colours, RAL Colour Chart, Farrow and Ball Colour Chart and Little Greene Company Colour Chart. Please note, where the ever-popular Farrow and Ball and Little Greene colours are used, we do not use these branded paints, we use a colour matching service as they are not fit for purpose to be used directly through our professional equipment, with the paint being a domestic, often water paint. Just click on the links to take a look.
We strongly advise that you physically look at paint samples and colour charts in situ at your home to ensure you select the right colour. Electronic devices and lighting can vary in terms of their representation. Colour-matching is used on all colours except RAL and allows for a 5-15% tolerance.
We cannot be held responsible for any change of mind once the job is completed, so take the time to make the right choice. The finish we use is a low satin sheen as standard.

WHAT NEXT?
Contacting us is easy using the form below to arrange a telephone consultation. It helps us if you can upload photos of any minor damage so we can provide a true assessment and guidance from the beginning. We will look at the options and if necessary, we can carry out a site visit before the job commences. This will ensure any damage is rectifiable on the day or decide if any work needs to be carried out beforehand.
We will talk to you about the options and the timescales. It depends on the damage assessment, but we hope to begin work within 6-8 weeks of you getting in touch. So don’t delay, get in touch and make damaged kitchen panels a thing of the past.
